Distraction Thefts - Berkhamsted

Good morning Resident

Recently a member of public was targeted in Berkhamsted whereby jewellery was taken from their finger whilst engaging in a conversation with the suspect.

Please be vigilant when out and about, keep bags and purses zipped up and on your person and make sure all jewellery isn't loosely fitted. If you suspect anything suspicious or engage in a conversation with a stranger that doesn't feel right to you, then please phone 101 our non-emergency number and report this to us.
